The window for submitting election addresses has not yet opened.

Each political party or individual candidate standing in a constituency is entitled to their free post election leaflet to be published online. This is also known as an election address. To publish an election address online you must be:

An election agent

You have been officially appointed by the political party or individual candidate.

A political party list candidate

You can submit an election address on behalf of yourself and your fellow party list candidates standing in your constituency.

An individual candidate

You can submit an election address on behalf of yourself.

A Party's nominating officer can also submit an election address. However, if you are a nominating officer wishing to submit election addresses, you must contact the Electoral Management Board (EMB) emb@dbcc.gov.wales prior to submission.

Election address:

The election address submission process opens when the Returning Officers publish the Notice of Election. Do not attempt to submit an election address before this date.

Election addresses will be published each Thursday from 16 April 2026. For your election address to be included in the publication, it must be submitted at least 48 hours before publication. Election addresses received late will be published the following week.

You must have successfully submitted your nomination paper to your Returning Officer AND had your election leaflet approved by the Royal Mail before submitting your election address.

You will need:

  • PDF version of your free post election leaflet (Less than 15MB)

  • Royal Mail approval code

  • Optional - text version of the wording from your free post leaflet

Accessibility

You can enter the election address text in English and/or Welsh. This text only version will help make it accessible for voters with:

  • Visual or dexterity impairments

  • Poor internet connection

  • Older devices

It is strongly recommended you enter the text printed on your freepost election address into the text box. It means the content of your election address will be also be published in a format that is accessible to more voters. The PDF file will still be published alongside.
