Notice of Election 

This is the official announcement that an election is happening. It includes the key dates for registering to vote and information on becoming a candidate.

Notice of poll and Statement of Parties and Persons Nominated (SoPPN)

This tells you which political parties and candidates are standing in the election. It gives information about them like where they live and if they have been a member of another political party in the last 12 months.

The document also says when the election is happening, and what hours polling stations (places you vote in person) are open.

Situation of polling stations

This tells you where the polling stations (places where you vote in person) are, and which voters can vote in each polling station.

Declaration of results

This is the official document which tells you the results of the election. It says how many people voted, how many votes each political party or independent candidate received, and who won the seats. This document also tells you how many ballot (voting) papers were rejected, and why they were rejected.
