Rules on Election Leaflets

Election leaflets published by the Electoral Management Board are as submitted by the party or candidate. The Electoral Management Board publishes any leaflet submitted in line with the guidance. It does not take a view on the content of leaflets. Parties and independent candidates are responsible for ensuring their leaflet does not contain material that is obscene, offensive, or indecent, or the publication of which would likely amount to the commission of an offence. Election leaflets published on vote.wales should be read as political campaign material and as such may include views that do not align with your own. 

Parties and candidates can submit the text of their leaflet as well as the PDF to aid accessibility. This webpage will show the text of the leaflet, either in whole or an extract, if it has been provided by the party or independent candidate. The Electoral Management Board has not amended the text provided.  If the election imprint (information about who is responsible for the material and who it is promoting) is not on the webpage, it can be found on the leaflet.
