COMMUNITY BEFORE PARTY At a time when political parties are increasingly divided; at a time when the next Senedd will include many new and inexperienced voices; and at a time when people of all ages need support, stability, and hope without hostility - I want to work with you, and for you, to continue to put Wales first. Having served as an independent Member of the Senedd, I’ve seen firsthand the unique opportunity it offers to deliver meaningful compromise, shape policy, and secure legal changes that benefit everyone. My priorities for our community include: Improving Local Health Care - Expanding medical services at Llantrisant Health Park; Creating an Urgent Care Centre at Barry Hospital; Backing the rebuild of the Heath. Securing Justice for Residents - Strengthening building safety and leasehold legislation; Negotiating fair compensation for pensions injustice; Introducing legislation on quarry blasting. Creating Sustainable Communities - Protecting green wedges and conservation areas from future development; Extending the South Wales Metro to Creigiau and Pentyrch; Improving access to bilingual education.
