Election leaflet
Life in Wales is still tougher than it should be for many families. Many people feel like progress hasn’t reached them yet. That frustration is real, and I’m not going to hide away from it. Together, through some very tough times, we always tried to do the right thing. We protected the things people rely on most. Like free prescriptions, free hospital parking, and free school meals for every primary school pupil. But we were held back from going further and faster by tough Tory budgets that punished Wales and nearly crashed our economy. Thankfully, that time has now come to an end. Now we can look ahead with confidence. Not just battling, but building. A new chapter for Wales. With more money available, we are already bringing down NHS waiting lists. I know progress feels slow, and I’m sorry for that. I don’t want anyone waiting longer than they should. But things are improving. And we now have both the plan and the funding to go further and faster. So, here’s the new promise I’m making to you. If you have a pressing health concern, you will see a member of the primary care team within 48 hours. Welsh Labour wants to move forward and make life better for you. This election is about choosing what happens next. We cannot afford to take risks with our NHS, our jobs, or our children’s future. If you agree, I’m asking for your support. Vote Welsh Labour on Thursday 7 May. Vote for fairness you can feel. Yr eiddoch yn gywir, Eluned
